United States Marketplace Addendum
This addendum will govern additional US-facing marketplace obligations when VOHARI enables transactions involving US consumers or sellers. It supplements, and does not replace, the Platform Terms and applicable federal or state law.
1. Activation and scope
Publication of this addendum does not by itself mean that US checkout, US seller onboarding or international delivery is active. The rules below apply to the extent VOHARI enables the relevant US-facing service and the cited legal framework applies to that transaction or marketplace activity.
2. Seller identity and marketplace transparency
VOHARI identifies the seller responsible for each marketplace item. If the INFORM Consumers Act applies, VOHARI will collect and verify information required from covered high-volume third-party sellers, require periodic updates or certifications, make required seller disclosures, provide a mechanism for reporting suspicious marketplace activity and suspend covered sellers when the statute requires it.
3. Product authenticity, safety and recalls
Sellers may not offer stolen, counterfeit, recalled, unlawfully imported or unsafe products. Sellers must cooperate with safety notices, recalls, provenance checks and lawful requests from regulators. VOHARI may remove listings or restrict accounts when credible safety or authenticity concerns arise.
4. Pricing, taxes and fees
Prices, taxes, shipping, duties and marketplace fees shown to a US customer will be presented before final purchase to the extent required by applicable law. Sellers remain responsible for their own tax, licensing and product obligations unless VOHARI is legally required to collect, remit or administer a particular amount.
5. Shipping and cross-border orders
Where cross-border shipping is enabled, delivery estimates can be affected by seller dispatch, courier capacity, customs, duties, inspections and import restrictions. A seller may not represent an item as deliverable to a jurisdiction where it cannot lawfully or operationally be supplied.
6. Returns, warranties and state rights
The VOHARI Returns Policy applies as a marketplace minimum, but it does not reduce rights under applicable US federal or state law. State warranty, product-liability, refund or cancellation rules may provide additional rights. Mandatory rights take precedence over inconsistent marketplace terms.
7. Reviews and endorsements
VOHARI permits honest customer reviews and may identify reviews supported by its purchase records as verified purchases. Sellers, advertisers and users must not fabricate reviews, suppress legitimate criticism through prohibited contract terms, or fail to disclose material connections where disclosure is legally required. Sponsored content must remain distinguishable from organic marketplace content.
8. Suspicious marketplace activity
Customers may report suspected counterfeit goods, stolen goods, dangerous products, seller identity concerns or other suspicious conduct through VOHARI Support or any dedicated reporting method displayed on a covered seller’s listing. If US law requires a telephone and electronic reporting channel for a covered seller, VOHARI will publish those channels before the relevant US-facing activity is enabled.
9. Privacy
The United States Privacy Rights Addendum explains applicable state privacy rights, including California rights, privacy choices and Global Privacy Control.
10. Governing terms
The Platform Terms continue to apply. Nothing in this addendum waives non-waivable US consumer protections. Jurisdiction and dispute rules may differ where a mandatory federal or state law requires a different result.
