PAIA & Information Access
This page supports requests under the Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA) and privacy-related requests under POPIA. A formal PAIA manual may be published separately once the operator’s statutory details are finalised.
1. Information Officer
Name: To be configured before commercial launch
Email: Use the Privacy Requests & Choices channel
2. POPIA requests
Data subjects may request access to personal information, correction or deletion where applicable, object to certain processing, ask for information about recipients and exercise other rights provided by POPIA. Use the Privacy Requests & Choices page. Identity verification may be required before information is released or altered.
3. PAIA requests
PAIA provides a process to request access to records held by private and public bodies where the statutory requirements are met. A request should identify the record sought, the requester, the form of access requested and the right the requester seeks to exercise or protect where required by law.
4. Records and categories
VOHARI records can include corporate and governance records, personnel records, customer and seller records, transaction and accounting records, tax records, contracts, service-provider records, security and audit records, intellectual-property records, policies and operational records. Access may be refused or limited where PAIA, POPIA or another law permits or requires it.
5. Manual and prescribed forms
The downloadable PAIA manual URL has not yet been published. VOHARI Operations flags this as a launch-readiness item.
6. Information Regulator
The Information Regulator is the South African authority responsible for POPIA and PAIA oversight. A requester may use the Regulator’s published complaint and request channels where applicable after following required procedures.
